The most recent NMS expansion continues expanding on Harmonic Camps and adds new items.

The No Man's Sky Singularity update is continuing the sandbox exploration game's story alongside another community Expedition and the addition of new cosmetics and a helmet. Released with a 1:30 update trailer, Singularity is available now for all players on all platforms.

The Expedition presented in Singularity is part two of the lore established in the Interceptor update. Revolving around Harmonic Camps, you’ll continue exploring their origin and the origin of the corruption. This NMS Expedition is narrative focused, propelling this section of the four-part story series forward to future updates. Hello Games hints in the Singularity update notes that those interested in the story and potential future content can dig further into the narrative to find a few hidden Easter eggs along the way.

Throughout the Expedition, you’ll be able to gather various mechanical parts, building yourself a customized automaton suit. These rewards will be unlocked across all your saved games, so once the Expedition is finished, you can take that customization back to your main Traveler.

The Automaton customization isn't the only decorative bit of content in NMS Singularity. Both the Jetpack and Freighter have new trails, your Base can get a Living Fragment Decoration, and you can unlock the Wayfarer's Helm or purchase the Geometric Cape schematic at the Space Anomaly.
